Welcome Chicago AAS Teach-In Participants
In connection with the
Asian American Studies Teach-In in Chicago
Sunday March 5 - 2 PM, IMDiversity.com's
Asian-American Village Online has prepared this page of
supplemental information and links.
|
Does AAS Apply to the Real-World?
The following link examples are keyword searches of jobs posted
to the IMDiversity.com jobs database. The
diversity-oriented job bank contains tens of thousands of
postings, thus implicitly speaks to the participating
employers' interest in recruiting candidates with diverse
backgrounds, skills, experiences and perspectives. A small
and growing number of positions within this pool, however, have
specifically hailed "multicultural" aspects or experiences as
desirable in and of themselves; others have sought even more
specific qualifications relevant to ethnic and Asian American
studies, in sectors ranging from academia to government, banking
to healthcare.
