FORT SILL, Okla. (AP) _ The Oklahoma CareerTech System and its partners are planning another hiring event for Oklahoma military members and veterans.

The Oklahoma Military Connection hiring event is scheduled for Sept. 25 at the Fort Sill Armed Forces Reserve Center near Lawton.

The agencies will host the hiring event for U.S. military veterans, transitioning service members and Guard and Reserve members. CareerTech for Vets coordinator Amy Ewing-Holmstrom says participating employers will have jobs they are ready to fill and will be prepared to interview eligible applicants.

Registration is required to ensure job seekers are matched with career fields from the various employers. Ewing-Holmstrom says the goal is to make sure those who attend are pre-matched to companies that are compatible with their skills.
