MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) _ Southern New Hampshire University’s online College for America is ready to enroll students in its latest venture _ a $10,000 Bachelor of Arts degree in health care management.
The college announced plans for the new accredited degree program last spring and said this week that enrollment will open Nov. 1.
The new program is offered to working adult students through their employers, and has no traditional classes, instructors or grades. Instead, students work through material at their own pace and are evaluated on their mastery of skill areas.
Southern New Hampshire University is an 80-year-old nonprofit university that offers both in-person and online degree options. Its online associated degree program was the first of its kind to be approved for federal financial aid.
