We’re looking forward to seeing you at the 50th Anniversary March on Washington
this Saturday, August 24th.
I want to make sure you have all the details on the march. Here’s what you need
to know:
Time:
We will start gathering at 7:30 A.M. at the Washington Monument on the
Independence Avenue side of the National Mall and then walk over together to
the Lincoln Memorial. The pre-rally will begin at 8:00 A.M, after which we will
walk past the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial and end the march at the Washington
Monument.
Where to go:
Washington Monument on the Independence Avenue side of the National Mall.
How to get there:
You can access the Mall from these Metro stops on the Blue/Orange lines:
Smithsonian, Farragut West, Foggy Bottom/George Washington University,
Arlington Cemetery.

the Survey Lodge Ranger Station.
