Assistant Professor of Decision Sciences – Management Science/Business Analytics
The Decision Sciences Department in the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level beginning Fall 2014. The position will have responsibility for teaching both required and elective graduate and undergraduate courses in various areas: management science/quantitative methods, business statistics, information systems, and/or operations management. Strong research interest in business analytics is preferred. Applicants with an appropriate doctoral degree by August 2014 will be given preference, and should provide evidence of, or potential for, excellence in teaching, research, and service in a public research university setting.
Applicants should submit a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, three letters of reference (at least one should address teaching proficiency), and sample evidence of research activity. The Decision Sciences Department is one of six departments in the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics. The Peter T. Paul College is an AACSB accredited business school in the state of New Hampshire with world-class academic programs in business administration, economics, and hospitality management. We have 2,200 students in our undergraduate programs and 300 students in graduate programs, including MBA (full-time, part-time, executive, and online), MS Accounting, and MA and Ph.D. in Economics. Paul College is located at Paul Building, a state-of-the-art facility with 115,000 square feet of space and high-tech classrooms and breakout meeting rooms.
