Assistant Professor of Theatre-Voice and Movement – Carrollton, GA

 

The University of West Georgia Department of Theatre is seeking a tenure-track faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin August, 2014. MFA or Ph.D. required. The candidate will teach two voice and movement courses in the BA performance track program along with theatre classes within the general education curriculum. The successful candidate will teach a variety of techniques in both voice and movement (e.g., Alexander, Laban, Lessac, Linklater, Yoga, Pilates, Chekhov, Viewpoints, etc.). A sound knowledge of the workings of the human voice and body is essential.
