BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) _ Organizers say more than 4,500 people attended a three-day event in Bismarck highlighting the state’s booming oil patch.
The Williston Basin Petroleum Conference and Expo was held last week at the Bismarck Civic Center.
The North Dakota Petroleum Council says people came from 48 states and countries as far as France, Norway and Nigeria.
Sheri Grossman with the Bismarck-Mandan Convention and Visitors Bureau estimated the expo injected about $2.5 million into the local economy.
