ATLANTA (AP) _ The Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice is hosting two recruitment events in the metro Atlanta area for military veterans and the general public.
Officials say the department’s recruiting team is hosting two recruitment fairs on Thursday. One event is for veterans only and is being hosted at Dobbins Air Force Base in Marietta from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The second recruitment fair is being held at the Department of Labor Career Center in Atlanta from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Department of Juvenile Justice Commissioner Avery Niles says the agency is looking for mature, responsible applicants who are interested in helping juveniles navigate difficult periods of their lives.
