For those who missed the September 6th premieres of two new critically-appraised shows that are changing the face of prestige television on both sides of the camera: fear not. You can watch the first episodes of Ava DuVernay’s “Queen Sugar” and Donald Glover’s “Atlanta” for free.

For those without streaming apps, FX made streaming the surrealist comedy “Atlanta” easy by putting the episode up on YouTube and Facebook. Those with cable subscriptions can watch the second episode, which also aired last night, on FX’s website.

Oprah Winfrey’s OWN made streaming the first episode of “Queen Sugar” (whose second episode airs tonight, September 7) easy for those with smartphones or tablets. Just download the OWN app to watch the premiere for free. As of press time, you do not need to sign in with your cable provider information to enjoy.
