CHICAGO (AP) _ A bus tour featuring Congressional Democratic women that started in Seneca Falls, NY made its last stop in Chicago.
The visit on Wednesday was the culmination of the bus tour called, “When Women Succeed, America Succeeds: Women on a Roll.” It began Sunday in Seneca Falls, New York.
Along with House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi of California was Illinois congressmen Jan Schakowsky, Robin Kelly, Brad Schneider, and candidate Ann Callis.
They discussed policies they believe work for women, including equal pay, raising the minimum wage, paid sick leave, and affordable child care. They gathered at 9 a.m. at Teamster City in Chicago.
