We welcome applicants who either have a well-established research program or have begun to develop one, and who are interested in collaborating with faculty from other disciplines such as business, sociology, computer science, law, and engineering. Applicants should have expertise in pharmacoeconomics, applied health economics, patient-centered outcomes, and/or comparative effectiveness. The faculty member hired for this position will participate in the School’s PharmD program and contribute to the development of a new PhD program in pharmacy services research and policy as well as other interprofessional activities. The position will be located in the School’s Pharmacy Practice Department. Qualifications: A doctoral-level research degree (e.g., PhD, ScD, DrPH) in social and administrative pharmacy, health economics, health services research, health policy, public health, or a similar area is required. A pharmacy degree is preferred but not required. Strong preference will be given to candidates who possess both research and clinical degrees (or commensurate experience); conducts pharmaceutical policy-relevant empirical research in areas such as pharmacoeconomics, comparative effectiveness, or health services research; has a record of peer-reviewed publications and external research funding commensurate with experience and rank; has excellent analytical and communication skills; has teaching experience in both PharmD professional and PhD graduate programs.
