Position Summary:

The Compensation Manager is responsible for managing the compensation function in Human Resources Management. Plans, develops, and implements competitive compensation programs for non-faculty that align with the University’s strategy to recruit and retain the highest level of talent. In addition, serves as a strategic and consultative business partner with a broad range of colleagues to provide counsel on organizational design, restructuring, job evaluation, and salary administration. Identifies and monitors market trends; conducts research and analysis to support competitive pay programs. Supports and partners on the design, development and implementation of the performance management program.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline

Certified Compensation Professional highly desirable

Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in human resources and compensation

Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role

Superior analytical skills with sound business insight

Competency in MS office, Excel, Access and PowerPoint essential

Excellent oral and written skills and ability to effectively partner with all levels of the University

Knowledge of HRIS systems
