The University of Notre Dame (www.nd.edu) is accepting applications for an Event Management Program Coordinator. This position will direct all game day facets for select Olympic sporting events, as well as assist the Assistant Athletics Director, Event Management in overseeing select Olympic sporting events. This position will direct all facets of event management for a select number of non-athletic events held in the Joyce Center to include both University and non-University events. These types of events would include external graduations, campus career fairs, etc. The successful candidate will assist with creation and implementation of a plan to maximize the fan experience at every event held in our facilities and assist with the coordination of the NBC executive client hospitality program to include planning of the gameday hospitality tent; ordering & packing gifts for NBC officials; and hosting duties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree required with 1-2 years’ related experience. Knowledge of NCAA/ACC rules and regulations, excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to multi-task effectively, good interpersonal skills, ability to create a team environment required. A marketing background is preferred and the ability to think outside the box imperative. Strong organization and communication skills are essential.
