Financial Assistant

The University of Notre Dame (ND.jobs) is accepting applications for a Financial Assistant.

The Financial Assistant serves as the primary contact for all financial matters within the ticket office, including but not limited to accounting, reporting, cash management, reconciliations, and budget monitoring. The Financial Assistant in the Ticket office is responsible for the daily deposit, setting up batches each day and settling credit card transactions each morning. The Financial Assistant is responsible for producing reports on taxable benefits bi-annually, monthly over/shorts, keeping the ticket office’s budget information up to date, as well as uploading e-check transactions each day. This position is also responsible for posting and reporting all inter-office budget charges for ticketing needs as well as setting up purchase orders in buyND. The Financial Assistant is also responsible for sending all invoices to the business office for payment as well as processing refund requests. The Financial Assistant will also provide support to ticket office operations as necessary.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate’s degree or up to 3 years college or technical school required or 1-2 years related experience. Knowledge of basic accounting processes and controls as well as banking operations necessary. Strong attention to detail, ability to work on multiple priorities, ability to work under the pressure of deadlines and conflict resolution.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Familiarity with departmental and University accounting and finance personnel preferred. Experience with Paciolan ticketing software preferred.
