Director of the Health & Wellness Center/Health Educator – Huntingdon,

Juniata College invites applicants for the Director of the Health & Wellness Center/Health Educator position. Provides vision, leadership and management for the Health & Wellness Center which includes Counseling Services and Health Services for students. Assists with mental health counseling, in-take assessments, crisis intervention and supervision of counseling affiliates/triage program. Serves as a Health Educator and works with faculty and staff to develop programs designed to raise awareness of health-related issues and help students develop healthy life skills. Collaborates with others to promote and coordinate campus-wide wellness initiatives. Reports to Dean of Students and works under broad guidelines and directions. Additional supervision for clinicians provided through the College by a licensed psychiatrist.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree in clinical/counseling psychology, health care administration or related field with counseling credentials and a minimum of five years’ post-licensure experience required. Experience working with college students and effective outreach programming development is a plus.
